In the fashion label’s latest television and cinema ad campaign, two women are shown kissing and tearing each other’s clothes off in between exchanging kicks and punches. The £2m promotion, under the slogan “Fashion versus Style” has been launched after the disappointment of slow sales last year.

The TV spots begin with a woman staring at her packed bedroom closet as a dinner party has started in her living room. Frustrated that she has nothing to wear (despite a closet full of clothes) she makes an unexpected and controversial wardrobe choice. The new campaign was the first for Bluefly to be created by New York’s McCaffery Gottlieb & Lane.

Targeted at women 25 to 49, the TV commercials are slated to appear during Sex in the City on TBS and on BRAVO.

The million dolar movie

Inspired by the current pixel advertising craze, two students at the International Film School in Wales are asking people to donate money to fund their first feature movie. In return, those who donate £3 or more will receive a screen credit as executive producer.
The students aim at raising a million dollars by involving thousands of sponsors. And while they are at it, they also hope to get in the book of Guinness World Records for the movie with the longest list of credits.

Intel convinced Mariah Carey to pose and sing for its latest Centrino advertising campaign.

The singer, who has been nominated for eight Grammy awards, appears in print ads and TV commercial that highlight the wireless entertainment capability of today’s notebook computers. The first commercial is scheduled to air during the Grammy awards. Before Carey, Intel contracted John Cleese, Lucy Liu, Tony Leung, Seal, Tony Hawk and Michael Owen to promote its Centrino devices.
